It's a terrible thing to be the last man on Earth.
When a young, female professor, trapped by caring for her Alzheimer suffering father, tries to open the world's eyes to disaster, she must set aside her own personal grief and misfortune, search out her missing family, and uncover the true extent of the threat facing humanity.
Only to discover that the world has been deceived on an unimaginable scale.
She realizes that she might actually hold the key to saving humanity, if she can only stay alive long enough to complete her lifetimes' work...

An empty rural town. A rusting, abandoned swing creaks in the breeze. Paint peels on discolored buildings.

To know that everyone you’ve ever loved or hated, is gone.
EXT. JAMMED FREEWAY - DAY
A freeway jammed with rusting, abandoned cars.

Deserted city streets. Weeds grow in the detritus.
